As you may recall, earlier this year ‘Tank’ found himself in the Tank, (pun intended) for 44 days. Initially, he managed to stay out of jail following a Hit and Run case in November of 2o2o, This incident left four people injured, according to Talk Sport, This leniency resulted from Davis accepting a plea bargain and admitting guilt to four traffic violations.
Though less than a month after his sentence, he found himself in trouble following a violation of the terms of a home arrest order. Subsequently, he was released in July and has been contemplating his return to boxing since. Fans and pugilists were just dreaming of the two Bruisers stepping into the ring, Keith being a big name in boxing, though those dreams are now all but dead.
Rumors first started to circulate that Davis would face Isaac Cruz, though those rumors somehow turned to Keith Thurman next.
Espinoza’s no-nonsense approach and his plea to verify sources that news comes from is clear. While we await with bated breath any news about the return of Davis, it is a fact that the ‘Tank’ vs. Thurman match is not happening.
