Kris Ball from Houghton Regis says the hotel then gave him a bag of salt to grit it too!
"The lady on the front of house told me it would be taken care of in time for my mum's check out. However, 10 minutes after this she knocked on the door of my mum's room, handed me a small blue dustpan and brush and walked away without comment.
To expect the relatives of guests with limited mobility to do something that should have been done by the staff was frankly cruel and unacceptable."
