It’s the latter factoid — and more specifically, Hemsworth’s nationality — that becomes the focus of an agreeable new Details profile, where Hemsworth introduces us to Aussie vehicular slang (“Give me a park!” he cries at passing cars while attempting to pull up in front of a restaurant) and tells us what his home country has been missing out on. “In Australia, we used to always watch Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle,” says Hemsworth, but, “I didn’t know it was a real place. Epic.” Even better: “How comedic are squirrels?!” Hemsworth cries as one scampers past him at one point. “We don’t have squirrels in Australia. The first time I saw a squirrel was at a meeting at Disney. I was like, ‘What the fuck?!’” Later, while deep in thought explaining his Hunger Games character Gale, Hemsworth is again distracted by a squirrel. “Look!
