The legendary Lionel Richie will return to the UK in 2016, performing at Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colchester this Saturday!
Performing ‘All The Hits’ from his extensive and much loved repertoire spanning decades, all the way from the Commodores to the present day.
Lionel’s shows are world renowned for their party atmosphere and audiences will be able to join Lionel in singing along to classics such as ‘Hello’, ‘Easy’, ‘Dancing on the Ceiling’, ‘Say You Say Me’ and ‘All Night Long’.
Lionel said: “It’s been an unforgettable year and I can’t wait to return to the UK to see my fans. It’s always been a really special place for me and this year in particular the UK has been incredible to me.
Joining Lionel at Colchester will be Corinne Bailey Rae, performing tracks from her new album 'The Heart Speaks In Whispers' released in May.

The UK fell back in love with Lionel last year following a sell-out tour that received glittering reviews and culminated in a phenomenal Glastonbury performance.
If you're heading to the Weston Homes Community Stadium this Saturday, here's what you need to know:
Doors open: 5pm
Approximate Stage Times:
- 7.45pm: Corinne Bailey-Rae
- 8.45pm: Lionel Richie
Getting There:
- Car parking still available at Ardleigh Park and Ride, off Old Ipswich Road, Ardleigh, which can take around 4,000 cars.
- Colchester Park and Ride in Cuckoo Farm Way set aside 800 pre-booked spaces for the event but these are sold out.
- There will be shuttle buses in constant rotation from the park and ride sites from 4.30pm and buses will also run from Bruff Close near Colchester North Station from 4.30pm.
Leaving the concert:
- There will be road closures in place in Boxted Road after the concert so be prepared to walk further to get a taxi.
- The last bus is due to leave the stadium at half past midnight.
- Traffic from the stadium car park will be held for 45 minutes following the show to allow pedestrians to leave safely.
