Mauricio Pochettino has been announced as the new coach of Chelsea.
Pochettino is back coaching in the Premier League. Chelsea announced on Monday that Pochettino has signed a contract with the club and his new role will begin on 1 July.
He has signed a two year contract. Chelsea’s co-sporting directors Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley had this to say:

He is a winning coach, who has worked at the highest levels, in multiple leagues and languages. His ethos, tactical approach and commitment to development all made him the exceptional candidate.”
The 51 year old started his managerial career at Espanyol in La Liga before coaching Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. He last coached Paris Saint-Germain in 2021-2022 for one season.
