Earlier this year, Rolling Loud California shifted venues from San Bernadino to Hollywood Park, with Playboi Carti, Future and 21 Savage gracing the stage. It also marked the festival’s foray into Latin music, as Anuel AA and El Alfa made appearances alongside the hip-hop roster. Since launching in California in 2017, organizers have held the event on and off in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.
Founded by Matt Ziegler and Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud has become one of the premier hip-hop music festivals since launching in 2015 at Miami’s Soho Studios. In the time since, it’s hosted artists including Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne, and expanded to international markets in Australia, Toronto, Portugal, Thailand and Germany.
