Red Hot Chili Peppers'Flea, 60, welcomes a child with wife Melody Ehsani, 42

Flea has welcomed his first child together with wife of three years Melody Ehsani.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers star, 60, confirmed this week that his fashion designer partner gave birth on December 12.

He also shares Clara, 34, with ex-wife Loesha Zeviar, and 17-year-old daughter Sunny Bebop with model ex-fiancée Frankie Rayder.

The musician shared the joyous baby news to People while attending the premiere for flick Babylon, which he stars in alongside Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, earlier this week.

Flea portrays Bob Levine in Damien Chazelle's star-studded 1920s Hollywood-set drama, which hits US theaters December 23 and UK theaters January 20.

And chatting with the publication days before, Flea explained that he 'loves' being a dad and couldn't wait for the new arrival.

'I love being a dad, and I can't even believe that I'm about to have another baby,' he shared.

Melody, who tied the knot with Flea in 2019, revealed the pregnancy news in July via social media, sharing some snaps of her bump.

And since announcing the news, the couple have been spotted at a slew of sporting events as the beauty proudly displayed her bump. 

Melody works as the creative director of her clothing brand and met Flea at a gala for his nonprofit, Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
