She's hinted that she may run for the White House in 2012, so perhaps Sarah Palin is packing in the quality time with her family on holiday in Hawaii.
The mother-of-five was pictured on the beach looking less than glamorous in a grey T-shirt with the word 'ARMY' emblazoned across it.
Sun-conscious Palin, 45, also wore pink baseball cap and sunglasses to shield her from the glare.

While Palin's T-shirt had the word 'ARMY' emblazoned across the front, husband Todd's T-shirt said 'If you don't like America, then why don't you get the hell out?'

Pictured in Barack Obama's home state, the couple were spotted enjoying the Hawaiian sunshine with daughter Piper and son Trig.
Yet, despite her efforts to enjoy some family time, Palin was never too far from her Blackberry, even pictured at one point with body board in one hand and phone in the other.

Palin has hinted that she may run for White House in 2012, although she said last month that standing for president is 'not on my radar screen right now'
The holiday comes hot on the heels of Palin's book tour for her autobiography Going Rogue.
The book became an instant bestseller, topping the Amazon book sales charts.
Publication of the 413-page book suggests the former Alaska governor is testing the waters as to whether running would be a popular decision.
When asked last month whether she’d play a major role in the 2012 elections, she replied that ‘if people will have me, I will’.

However Palin, who quit as Alaska governor this year, said she was focusing her efforts on next year's mid-term Congressional elections.
'I'm concentrating on 2010 and making sure that we have issues to tackle,' she said. 'I don't know what I'm going to be doing in 2012. [Standing for president is] not on my radar screen right now.'
It seems whatever Palin has in store for 2012, the former Republican vice presidential candidate needed to get away from book signings and speeches at least for a few days.
